Think about how much of your life is spent in direct contact with your blanket. It’s against your skin, right up by your face, for seven or eight hours a night, every night. For most homes, that blanket is polyester, or a polyester blend. It’s just what’s cheap, what’s on the shelf, what came with the set. And for years there was no real reason to look any closer.
